Buick's History
Buick logo
Buick was founded by David Dunbar Buick on May 19 1903 and is now based in Detroit.
They are an entry-level luxury line produced by GM.
Their sales peaked in 1984, but have fallen off gradually ever since. In 2005 GM was considering removing the line from production. However, with the demise of Pontiac and Saturn, Buick will continue to survive (if only by the other two failing).
Their famous trishield logo is based on the coat of arms of the company's founder (David Buick).
